About
COMELEC
What is COMELEC?
The Saint Jude Catholic School Commission on Elections, or simply COMELEC, is the school's premier institution in charge of managing the Student Council elections annually. Its duty is to uphold democracy, impartiality, and fairness in its affairs, as well as to keep the Student Council in check at all times so that they may properly serve the entire student body.
Empowerment
through
Awareness
The theme for this year's administration: the current commission believes that the student's awareness and knowledge about the Student Council and its peripheries, its elections, its COMELEC, and its binding constitution is quintessential to uphold the democratic values of the school.
Message
from the Chairpersons
We urge all of you, students, to know your candidates first before making any decision. Be critical of them and look beyond their own platforms. See to it that the candidates of your choice are more than capable to perform their duties and serve the entire student body. After all, it is not about them. It is about democracy and service to our own school and most importantly you, Judenites! So vote wisely.
